Improving lives by improving health
WellCare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides free integrated healthcare to single working mothers and their children who do not qualify for state assistance but do not make enough for needed healthcare services.

Since our founding in 1999, WellCare has built a network of more than 135 healthcare practitioners. We currently have five clinics and have plans to expand so that we may provide quality healthcare to single working mothers and their children.

We approach our health services with the understanding that each person we treat is a part of the community circle. By improving the health and wellness of our moms and children, we can help them achieve better and more productive lives. And then, once empowered by greater health, they can contribute back to the community around them, completing the circle of service.

WellCare Facts
WellCare moms are not on wellfare and do not qualify for government assistance. These women are working and are not dependent on the system.

These moms need whole body, whole person care ranging from treatment of acute and chronic conditions, dentistry, counseling, obesity, and nutritional instruction and needed laboratory tests.

Referrals come from homeless shelters, churches, doctors, and other families being treated.
